After an extended stay in Manitowoc (and on land!), we say goodbye to Pat's family, pack up the critters and set our sights on Chicago (remember we're on Lake Michigan again and we cruise when the wind/wave conditions allow). Another added weather variable, fog, has also kept us tied to the docks on a few occasions lately. Along the way our stops include Port Washington, Milwaukee, Racine and Waukegan. The weather/wind/waves are good for travel so we make good time and get to Chi-town and say good bye to the open waters of Lake Michigan with fond memories.
